A common misconception is that Breast Cancer is the number one killer of Australian Women - but it's not . . . Heart Disease takes more Aussie women each and every year. From age 45 and onward, Coronary Heart Disease is our largest cause of death.

This Mother's Day (Sunday 8th May), we are running a CPR training session in Richmond.

This course will be run in accordance with current, nationally recognised qualification HLTAID001 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - but will also provide information about Women's heart-health including signs/symptoms of Heart Attack/S.C.A (Sudden Cardiac Arrest).

You will learn how to keep yourself safe, how to recognise when another person needs your help; caring for another person and how to call for and communicate with Emergency Services personnel.

Includes DRS ABCD (First Aiders action-plan), CPR (Adult, Child & Infant), Recovery Position and AED (Automated External defibrillator - or Defib.) and looking after yourself and others, post-incident.

This session is run with two options:

1/. Certificate course: Includes verbal-report and multi-choice theory questions at the end of the session. Certificate HLTAID001 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, is issued upon successful completion of all practicals.

2/. No Theory - Skills Only: You will learn everything outlined but without having to do any theory. This option is suited to those who want to learn CPR but don't need a Certificate.

Bookings are essential - Use coupon MUM16 when booking and pay just $40! (Normally $50).
